As a Java/ C++ developer you will be working on development, both on the java and the C++ side, of the live service engine and the principal content distribution platform.
Your main tasks will be:
You will be responsible for the development and maintenance of the over-the-air (OTA) services such as Safety cams, HD traffic, Fuel prices, etc. The
services will be plugged in a highly available and scalable distribution platform and will be concurrently accessed by a very high number of users. The
services will be implemented both on the server side using JEE as principal platform and on the device. |

You should have knowledge on sorting algorithms, scalable systems and experience with development of distributed applications. Knowledge of Terracotta
is considered a plus. You have a very good knowledge of concurrent, available and scalable systems.
•You have expertise in development using the full JEE enterprise framework stack
•You have experience in event base architecture, asynchronous messaging systems and highly concurrent multithreading environment
•You have experience with standard application framework stack like Spring, Hibernate,
I-batis Aspectj, quartz
•You have experience with development of highly scalable applications, distributed caching solutions and synchronization;
•You are experienced with testing frameworks (Junit, TestNG, Fit, Selenium);
•You have experience with common scripting languages such as bash or perl
•You have experience with Java6, C++ and Spring 2.0
•You know how to write code that is of high quality, easy to understand and maintain (well structured, well documented, and clearly formatted) and
efficient.
A definite advantage would be your experience with the agile development process, experience with development of RESTful applications (JaxRS, Stax),
JBoss4.2.2 or higher and/or experience with mocking frameworks (EasyMock, Mockito, Jmock). |
